Welcome to Sugatani Hot Springs, a secluded destination

Since as far back as the Asuka period (550-710 CE), this northern region is the home of a Kannon deity protected by the simple faith of the common folk. Kannon has quietly overlooked and protected the area even through its ups and downs, from the battles of the Warring States period (1467-1568 CE) to the fall of Odani Castle.

In this way, both the Kannon deity and the waters of Sugatani have given comfort and joy to people since ancient times. Even if the battling warriors — and their worried wives — only found but a moment of respite in the waters of Sugatani amidst the raging battle, surely it was a moment of blissful relaxation. We invite you, too, to have a relaxing stay at our hot springs and inn.

Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 PM.
Prices listed are per person (includes dinner and breakfast) with service charges included and tax separate.
Select from finest quality Omi beef loin shabu shabu or finest quality marbled Obi beef sukiyaki. Price is an additional ¥2,000 on top of lodgings.

Standard dinner and breakfast are served in the restaurant. If you wish to dine in your room, please add an additional ¥3,000 per room.

For parties of up to four people with pets selecting to dine in-room, the kaiseki course will be served.
If you wish to eat sukiyaki, shabu shabu, or other stewed dishes, please leave your pet in your room and dine in the banquet hall. Note that breakfast is not served in-room.
